“Chok-Dee Charity Fight Night”: Minister opened Muaythai Charity Event

On 20 December 2025, Mr. Cheevindh Nathalang, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, representing the Ambassador of Thailand to Austria, presided over the opening of the "Chok-Dee Charity Fight Night – Fight for Hope" in Breitenfurt. The event was organized by Fox Gym – Muaythai Gym in Vienna. 

The Minister expressed his appreciation to Fox Gym, the organizer, for promoting Muaythai, a Thai national heritage and sport. He also highlighted the success of the Embassy’s recent Muaythai Seminar Series across Austria and Slovakia in September 2025 , which received overwhelming interest and demonstrated the rising popularity of this sport among Austrians. He also invited interested person to train Muaythai in Thailand, noting that they can apply for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) which is designed for long-term stay in Thailand for such trainings.
