Ambassador of Thailand Meets with Honorary Consul-General and Honorary Consuls of Thailand in Austria and Slovakia

On 8 September 2026, H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand, hosted a dinner for Mr. Maximilian Coreth, Honorary Consul-General of Thailand in Salzburg, Mr. Christoph Swarovski, Honorary Consul of Thailand in Innsbruck, and Mr. Alexander Rozin Jr., Honorary Consul of Thailand in Bratislava.

The dinner provided an opportunity for the Ambassador and the Honorary Consul-General and Honorary Consuls to exchange views on the role of Honorary Consuls in supporting the Embassy’s work, particularly in strengthening relations with local authorities, the business community and other stakeholders, expanding local networks and cooperation, exploring  opportunities for trade and investment, particularly in Thailand’s target industries, as well as  providing assistance and support to Thai nationals residing in the region their respective areas. They also discussed ways to further strengthen coordination and coordination with local authorities and communities, with a view to making the Embassy’s engagement at the local level closer and more effective and advancing Thailand’s interests in the respective areas in a continuous and tangible manner.

On this occasion, the Ambassador expressed her sincere appreciation to the Honorary Consul-General and Honorary Consuls for their dedication and cooperation in carrying out their duties, as well as for their continued valuable support for the work of the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna.
