On 14 November 2022, Ambassador Sriswasdi paid a farewell call on H.E. Mr. Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal, Secretary General, Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria, on the occasion of completion of her tenure.

Both sides agreed to emphasize on the promotion of bilateral relations between the two countries in all dimensions, through exchange of high-level visits, citing for example the visit of Mr. Martin Kocher, Federal Minister of Labour and Economy of Austria to Thailand to sign the Memorandum of Understandings (1) on Trade and Economic Co-operation and (2) on Cooperation in Vocational Education in Work-based Training, on 14 Nov. 2022, which reflects excellent cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides also exchanged views on important topics related to international politics, in the multilateral frameworks and at the regional level, where Thailand and Austria shared common positions in many issues.

The Austrian side also congratulates Thailand as host of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) to be held in Bangkok this week.
