Ambassador Pattarat Hongtong Presented her Credentials to the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)

On 24 February 2025, H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador and Resident Representative of Thailand to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) presented her credentials to Mr. Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the IAEA.

At the meeting, both sides expressed their shared views and commitment to enhance the longstanding partnerships and close cooperations between Thailand and IAEA in the nuclear for peaceful uses agenda as well as addressing global challenges. Both sides also discussed on avenues to strengthen cooperations in several of the Agency’s important initiatives where Thailand could play a leading role in connecting the Agency’s works to the region in support of the development agenda such as Rays of Hope: Cancer Care for All, Atoms4Food, and NUTEC Plastics.
