"Thai Kultur Tage” – Thai Cultural Days at the Schlosspark in Wolkersdorf

On 13 September 2025, Ms. Pornapas Torut, Counsellor, as representative of the Ambassador, joined in the opening ceremony of the “Thai Kultur Tage” – Thai Cultural Days at the Schlosspark in Wolkersdorf. This event was organized by the Thai Kultur in Austria Association (THAIKIA) together with the Municipality of Wolkersdorf at the Schlosspark area in Wolkersdorf, Lower Austria. Mr. Dominic Litzka, Mayor of Wolkersdorf also attended the opening ceremony.

This is the first ever Thai Festival to be organized in Wolkersdorf, which aims to broaden awareness of Thai culture across Austria and strengthen the bonds between the people of both nations. Attendees enjoyed a rich program featuring traditional Thai dance performances, Thai singing, Muaythai and authentic Thai cuisine which are very popular among both local Austrians and international visitors alike.
