Buddhist Ceremony in Observance of the 7th Day of the Passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother
On 30 October 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna, together with Wat Yarnsangworn Vienna, organized a Buddhist ceremony in observance of the 7th day of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
The ceremony was presided over by the Abbot of Wat Yansangworn, as the head of the monastic chapter, and H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to Austria. Officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy, together with members of the Thai community in Vienna, participated in the chanting of the Abhidhamma, offered alms to the monk, and engaged in meditation to dedicate merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
