Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna held a ceremony to pay homage to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha
On 15 June 2026, H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to Austria, together with the officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand offices in Vienna, participated in a ceremony to pay homage to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajararajadhita.
The Ambassador delivered words of praise in honor of Her Royal Highness in several areas. The officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy expressed their deepest sorrow with grief, and highly appreciate Her Royal Highness' graciousness, exemplary conduct, and compassionate spirit during her tenure as Ambassador to Austria, Slovakia, and Slovenia, as well as Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations and other international organisations in Vienna (2012 - 2014). Her Royal Highness’ contributions, vision, and proficiencies, which benefited international relations, laws, and criminal justice at the global level, remain widely recognised on the international stage. The Royal Thai Embassy will respectfully follow Her Royal Highness’ initiatives and continue to uphold Her Royal Highness’ inspiration.
