On 13 March 2018 Air Chief Marshal Prajin Juntong Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice had a bilateral meeting with Dr. Heinz Fassmann, Federal Minister of Education, Science and Research of the Republic of Austria. Both sides discussed on enhancing cooperation particularly on vocational education and cooperation through Thai-Austria Technical College to develop skilled manpower for the EEC area which is according to Thailand 4.0 policy. Focus will be in the fields such as Robotics, Railway and Digital. In addition, both sides exchanged information and further discussed on Thailand’s Alternative Development Project as well as the exploring the possibility of linking research institutes and centers between the two countries.
