Ambassador Sriswasdi visited Linz in Upper Austria and met with Ms. Angelika Sery-Froschauer, Vice President of WKO Upper Austria

On 14 July 2021, Ambassador Sriswasdi visited Linz in Upper Austria and met with Ms. Angelika Sery-Froschauer, Vice President of WKO Upper Austria, together with the Director of Thai Trade Center in Vienna, to discuss how to  promote bilateral trade and investments between the two countries. Both sides also exchanged information on problems and challenges faced, including during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Ambassador Sriswasdi also met with senior representatives from Lenzing Company (textile industry) and Teufelberger Company (rope industry) to discuss about their respective investments in Thailand and how to expand cooperation in relevant areas, including welfare of the Thai employees and further investment in the Kingdom. 

In addition, Ambassador Sriswasdi visited "Tom Yum Restaurant", a Thai restaurant in Linz, to award the "Thai SELECT" certificate to the owner of the restaurant.  

The Thai SELECT certificate is the award granted by the Royal Thai Government to selected Thai restaurants, as a sign of recognition that the said restaurants use integridents and cooking method in the traditional Thai way.
