On 16 Nov. 2021, Ambassador Sriswasdi, together with Minister-Counsellor (Industrial Affairs) in Vienna, a representative from the Thai Trade Office in Prague (with accreditation to the Slovak Republic), and staff at the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna, had a fruitful discussion through video teleconferencing with Ms. Soňa Markechová, Senior Consultant (Investment Projects Department) at the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO). Ambassador Sriswasdi was briefed about investment environment in Slovakia and exchanged views on relevant rules and regulations, as well as economic opportunities and incentives in various areas. The meeting was very informative on investment and business opportunities in Slovakia for interested Thai investors seeking for economically viable options for their investment as Slovakia is an EU member country with high economic potentials and one of the most actively open to foreign investments in Europe.
