Ambassador Sriswasdi hosted a working dinner for the Austrian delegation

On 31 October 2022, Ambassador Sriswasdi hosted a working dinner for the Austrian delegation, comprising of (1) Mr. Nikolaus Berlakovich, President of Burgenland Chamber of Agriculture / Member of Parliament and former Minister of Agriculture, (2) Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Otto Prieler, Chamber Director of Burgenland Chamber of Agriculture, (3) Mr. Tobias Lang, Secretary General of the Rural Youth Austria (LKÖ) and (4) Ms. Simone Hutter, Vice President of International Farm Youth, who participated in the project of cooperation between Thailand and Austria on organic farming.

Both sides discussed ways and means to further promote and strengthen cooperation between the two countries on agriculture, including exchange programme of youth farmers and researchers, among others, with a view to exchange knowledge and best practices for mutual benefits.

On 25 to 30 September 2022, the said Austrian delegation visited the Royal Projects in Thailand. They met with the relevant agencies and organisations to discuss about cooperation on organic farming between Thailand and Austria, related regulations and laws, imports and exports as well as the opportunities to further export Thai agricultural products to the European market in the future.
