On the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua (28 July 2023),
the Royal Thai Embassy organised a volunteer activity at Verein Wiener Frauenhäuser Association

On 14 July 2023, H.E. Ambassador Vilawan Mangklatanakul together with officials, staffs and Team Thailand of the Royal Thai Embassy donated women’s clothes and amenities to Verein Wiener Frauenhäuser Association in Vienna. On this occasion, the Thai Delegation was warmly welcomed by Ms. Susanne Deutsch, Deputy Director of the Association, who expressed her appreciation for the Royal Thai Embassy’s support and donation.

Verein Wiener Frauenhäuser Foundation was founded in 1978. Since then, it has rendered assistance to women and children who were victims of violence, as well as supporting relatives of fatal victims by providing legal assistance, consultation, medical advises and shelters for abused women and their children without any charges. The Association has 228 shelters nationwide and actively rescued almost 2,000 women and children.
