Guide to Visa Photo Requirements
When submitting a photograph for your visa application, it is important to ensure that it meets all necessary criteria. This photograph will be displayed on your visa and serves as a part of your identification. Please review the following criteria carefully:
- 3:4 Aspect Ratio: The photograph must have a 3:4 width-to-height ratio to meet visa requirements.
- High Resolution: The photograph must be sharp, clear and not blurry . Kindly ensure the photo retains high resolution if cropped.
- Clear and Fully Visible Facial Features: Your entire face must be visible, unobstructed by shadows, reflections or other elements. The photo should only display the area from your face to your shoulders.
- Recent Photograph (taken within the last six months): The photograph must accurately reflect your current appearance.

Only the photograph itself should be submitted. Please ensure there are no paper edges, desk surfaces, or any other background in the submission—only the photo.
Additionally, the photo you submit will be automatically placed on your visa. We cannot edit or crop the photograph on your behalf, so it must be ready for use upon submission. Submitting a photo that does not meet the criteria can lead to visa rejection.
