Volunteer Activity on the Occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Birthday Anniversary at Perchtoldsdorfer Heide
On July 21, 2025 the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna organized a volunteer activity on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Birthday Anniversary at Perchtoldsdorfer Heide. H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador, together with the embassy staff, joined the Landschaftspflegeverein (Landscape Preservation Association) to conduct conservation activities at the Perchtoldsdorfer Heide, a dry grassland area near Vienna. The focus was on clearing shrubs and cutting trees to prevent encroachment on the dry grassland which is a vital habitat for a wide array of rare plants, animals, and insect species. This activity helped the local community in preserving the ecosystem and fostering biodiversity.
