Ambassador Presided over the Kathina Ceremony of Wat Thai-Austria Dhammaram, Vienna
On 1 November 2025, H.E. Ms Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to Austria, presided over the Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony at Wat Thai-Austria Dhammaram, Vienna. The event was attended by over 300 participants, including Thai Buddhists, their families and foreign visitors.
Prior to the Ceremony, the Ambassador led the congregation in paying their solemn respects to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. Following the tribute, the Ambassador participated in the main Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony, presented awards to individuals who had made valuable contributions to Wat Thai Austria Dhammaramm, Vienna, and delivered remarks commending the Thai community overseas for their goodwill, virtuous intentions and their dedication to preserving Thai traditions abroad.
