Volunteer Activity on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Passing of King Rama VI (25 November 2025) and the 100th Anniversary of the Birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Bejaratana Rajasuda (24 November 2025)
On 29 November 2025 – The Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna organized a volunteer activity by hosting a Thai food stall at the annual United Nations Women’s Guild (UNWG) Bazaar 2025 in the Austria Center Vienna. The charitable activity was carried out in honor of the 100th anniversary of the passing of His Majesty King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) on 25 November 2025 and the 100th birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Bejaratana Rajasuda on 24 November 2025.
The Thai food stall garnered substantial interest and popularity from international attendees throughout the day. It reflected a strong appreciation for the authentic taste and unique character of Thai food. The proceedings from the sale of the food stall were donated to the UNWG to support the continuation of their charitable activities.
The United Nations Women's Guild (UNWG) is a charitable organization, with the members comprising of female staff and spouses/partners of UN personnel. The UNWG is dedicated to conducting activities to assist underprivileged children and women worldwide. Their charitable events focus on key areas such as education support, health, and providing essential assistance on lunch programs for students in impoverished areas.
