Thai Kultur Tage in Wolkersdorf

On 12 September 2026, Mr. Panuwat Prommanon, Minister-Counsellor, representing the Ambassador of Thailand to Austria, attended the opening ceremony of “Thai Kultur Tage” (Thai Cultural Days) at Schlosspark in Wolkersdorf, Lower Austria. The event was organised by the Thai Kultur in Austria (THAIKIA) in cooperation with the City of Wolkersdorf, with Mr. Dominic Litzka, Mayor of Wolkersdorf, also attending the opening ceremony.

Held from 12 to 13 September 2026, Thai Kultur Tage aims to promote and showcase Thai culture to the Austrian public, while providing an opportunity for Austrians and international visitors to experience and learn more about Thailand’s rich and diverse cultural heritage. The event also contributes to strengthening people-to-people ties and fostering greater mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of Thailand and Austria.

The two-day event featured a wide range of cultural activities, including traditional Thai dance performances, Thai singing, Muay Thai demonstrations, and Thai cuisine. The activities attracted considerable interest from residents of Wolkersdorf and neighbouring communities, as well as Austrian and international visitors.

Thai Kultur Tage serves as another valuable platform for promoting cultural exchange and people-to-people connections, helping to foster greater familiarity, mutual understanding and friendship between Thailand and Austria.
