RECENT EXPLOSION IN BANGKOK 

With regard to the recent incident on a bomb explosion in Bangkok at Rachaprasong intersection on 17 August 2015 around 19.00 hrs (GMT +7), the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna would like to inform that the Thai authorities are now in control of the situation.

Also, so far there was no report on injuries or causalities of nationals of Austria, Slovakia and Slovenia. For those who wish to contact their relatives/ friends in Bangkok, please contact their respective national agencies (e.g. embassies or consulate-general) in Thailand.
