Ambassador Songsak Saicheua Presented Credentials to the Director-General of UNIDO

On 2 May 2017, H.E. Mr. Songsak Saicheua, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Vienna, presented his credentials as the Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to Mr. Li Yong, Director-General of UNIDO.  The Permanent Representative expressed his commitment to enhance cooperation between Thailand and UNIDO, especially in the fields of promoting sustainable industrialization, building infrastructure, and fostering innovation in developing countries with a view to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Ambassador Songsak also conveyed Thailand’s intention to support and contribute to the work of the UNIDO Regional Hub in Bangkok which also covers UNIDO missions in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia and Myanmar.
