Ceremony on the Occasion of the 66th Birthday of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun

On 28 July 2018, H.E. Ambassador Songsak Saicheua led the Thai community in a ceremony to mark the 66th Birthday of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun of Thailand at the Residence of the Thai Ambassador. The ceremony include offering alms to the monks, traditional Buddhist merit-making rituals, citation before His Majesty’s portrait and prayer for His Majesty’s good health and long reign.

The approximately 120 participants took this opportunity to donate money to the Caritas Foundation for its mission to assist homeless people in Vienna. They also donate money towards the flood rescue efforts in Attapeu Province, Lao PDR.
