      The ASEAN Vienna Committee (AVC) joins other ASEAN Embassies, Permanent Missions, and ASEAN Committees in Third Countries (ACTCs) around the world in celebrating the 56th ASEAN Day this 8 August 2023.

      ASEAN Day is the annual commemoration of the establishment of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) – a regional intergovernmental organization that fosters cooperation and integration among its ten member states in Southeast Asia.

      The AVC, which is composed of the Embassies and Permanent Missions of Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam, is tasked to promote the organization’s interests and identity in Austria and in the Vienna-based International Organizations.
