The Queen Mother (12 August 2024), the Royal Thai Embassy organised a volunteer activity at Samaritan Association in Vienna
On 13 August 2024, Her Excellency Ambassador Vilawan Mangklatanakul together with officials and Team Thailand of the Royal Thai Embassy donated some money to Samaritan Association in Vienna. On this occasion, the Thai Delegation was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Bettina Nistler, Donor Relations Section, and officers of Marketing and Fundraising, who expressed their appreciation for the Royal Thai Embassy’s support and donation. The delegation was also briefed on the activities of the Association and visited its low-cost store as well as the “Samaritan Soup Pot” meal distribution facility for people in need.
The Samaritan Association in Vienna is a prominent non-profit organization established since 1927. It provides various humanitarian and social services aiming at assisting people in need, migrants and homeless. The services include providing temporary shelters and consultations, as well as other projects such as the “Samaritan Soup Pot” by preparing and distributing warm meals with free of charge to those in need.
