Ambassador Pattarat Hongtong Presented her Credentials to the Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO)
On 7 February 2025, H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), presented her credentials to Dr. Robert Floyd, Executive Secretary of the CTBTO.
Both sides exchanged views on the cooperation between Thailand and the CTBTO. As Permanent Representative of Thailand to the CTBTO, Ambassador Hongtong reaffirmed Thailand’s continued support for Dr. Floyd as the Executive Secretary of the CTBTO for the second term. Ambassador Hongtong further pledged Thailand’s readiness to enhance its active role within the organization.
On this occasion, the Executive Secretary congratulated Ambassador Hongtong on assuming her new role. Recognizing Thailand’s significant contributions to CTBTO’s mission, the Executive Secretary expressed his determination to work closely with Thailand to strengthen the existing partnerships and cooperation in advancing the Treaty in all aspects, particularly in promoting its universalization."
