The Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna, in coordination with the ASEAN Vienna Committee (AVC) and Society Magazine, hosted ASEAN Culture Day 2025 “ASEAN’s Diverse Cultural Identity”

On 24 February 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna, in coordination with the ASEAN Vienna Committee (AVC) led by the Embassy of the People's Democratic Republic of Laos in Vienna in its capacity as the AVC Chair, together with Society Magazine, co-organized the ASEAN Culture Day event themed “ASEAN’s Diverse Cultural Identity,” at the Grand Hotel Wien. The event aimed to showcase the diverse cultures of ASEAN member countries to public including Austrian government representatives and members of the diplomatic community in Vienna.

H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongthong, Ambassador of Thailand to Austria, and officers of the Embassy attended the event. For Thailand's part, the Royal Thai Embassy prepared traditional Thai food and desserts to be served at the event, along with a Thai classical dance performance, "Rabam Kinaree Ron," by a Thai student in Vienna. Additionally, books and leaflets about various Thai dishes were contributed to promote Thai cuisine.
