Ceremony on the Occasion of the 86th Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of the Ninth Reign

On 10 August 2018, Mrs. Kesanee Palanuwongse, Chargés d'affaires ad interim of the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna, led the Thai community in a ceremony to mark the 86th Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of the Ninth Reign of Thailand at the Residence of the Thai Ambassador. The ceremony includes offering alms to the monks, citation before Her Majesty’s portrait and prayer for Her Majesty’s good health.

The approximately 70 participants took this opportunity to donate money towards the flood rescue efforts in Attapeu Province, Lao PDR, in honour of this auspicious occasion.
