On 1 July 2022, Ms. Chompoonute Chompookam, Minister Counsellor, represented Ambassador Morakot Sriswasdi in the opening ceremony of the Slovenia’s Nuad Thai Championship 2022, held at KULT 316 Cultural Center, Ljubljana, Slovenia. 

The Slovenia’s Nuad Thai Champion 2022 was organized by Nuad Thai and Spa Club of Slovenia in collaboration with the World Association of Nuad Thai and Spa, aiming to celebrate the addition of Nuad  Thai to UNESCO‘s  list of “intangible cultural heritage” and to promote local Thai medical wisdom as well as medical and wellness tourism in Thailand.

There were 6 masseurs participating in the competition. The winner are Ms. Pratanporn Palawat for the category: Nuad Thai Inspiration) and Ms. Tanyapirn Munai for the category: Nuad Thai for Health. They were awarded with a trophy from H.E. Mr. Palakorn Suwannarat, the Privy Councillor. They will participate in the World Nuad Thai Championship 2022, to be held in Zürich, Switzerland on 15-16 July 2022. The most honoured reward for the winner will be a trophy from HRH Princess  Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
