On 11 November 2022, Ambassador Sriswasdi visited Slovakia and paid a farewell call on H.E. Mr. Michal Pavúk, Director General for Political Affairs, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, on the occasion of the completion of her tenure.

Both sides agreed to emphasize on the promotion of bilateral relations between the two countries, through exchange of high-level visits, in particular in the framework of economic cooperation mechanism.  Both sides also discussed the plan to conclude more bilateral agreements in areas of mutual interests, cooperation in the multilateral frameworks and exchanged views on international politics.

Moreover, both sides shared the information on activities to commemorate the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Slovakia next year. Thailand established diplomatic relation with Slovakia on 1 January 1993 and both sides have enjoyed cordial relations ever since.

After the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Ambassador Sriswasdi also  visited Mr. Alexander Rozin, Honorary Consul-General of Thailand in Bratislava. On this occasion, the Honorary Consul-General hosted a luncheon to bid farewell the Ambassador.
