Thailand’s Implementation of the Protocol Additional to the Agreement with the IAEA for the Application of Safeguards

On 17 November 2017, H.E. Mr. Songsak Saicheua, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Vienna, submitted to Mr. Yukiya Amano, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), a notification on Thailand’s implementation of the Protocol Additional to the Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the IAEA for the Application of Safeguards in Connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. This is to reaffirm Thailand’s unwavering commitment to the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
